Many of the families I have nannied for have had dogs and cats. I also have experience with parrots as I used to have one, hamsters and fish. I have done house/pet sitting for a family with a dog, 2 cats and a hamster for up to 3 weeks at a time. I truly enjoy taking dogs out to parks and for walks and training them to do new things. If pet sitting over night, I do not allow the pets in the bedroom I am sleeping in.
